David grew up on a ranch in Eastern Oregon and graduated from college with a BS Degree in Crop and Soil Science. Dave worked as an agronomist for 11 years before moving to Lewiston in 2005 and subsequently Moscow in 2009 while employed for 12 years by the Nez Perce Tribe primarily as a biologist working in control of invasive weeds. He went to work as an appraiser for Latah County in 2017. During that time he served as residential appraiser, Senior Commercial appraiser, Agricultural appraiser, and Chief Deputy Assessor. Dave has also served on the Moscow Food Coop Board of Directors with one year as president. Dave and his wife Kim have 3 children and one grandchild.
