A lifetime resident of Latah County, 4th Generation. Graduated from Moscow High School in 1974. Completed two years at Northwest Nazarene College. Worked 50 years as operator, driver, then owner in the family trucking and excavation Business.

Elected to Moscow City Council for six years. Serving on the Latah County Planning Commission for 10 years, currently chairman.
